HISTORY
Shri Gajanan Shikshan Sanstha, with the blessings of Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj Started the
Engineering. College on 23rd Aug. 1983 under the guidance of Shri S.S.
Patil, Chairman to provide technical and other professional education.
SHRI SANT GAJANAN MAHARAJ COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING YEAR OF ESTABLISHMENT 1983.
The college was started in a small way in 1983 acquired 63 acres of land and started functioning in its own premises from Dec.85. The college is affiliate to Amravati University and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. Following course are offered:

OBJECTIVES
The Shikshan Sanstha has the following
Objectives in starting the Engineering College:
a) To impart technical and other essential education of higher standard.
b) To co-relate theoretical knowledge with industrial applications and to promote better industry interaction.
c) To gradually grow and set up a center of excellence in the field of higher education.
CAMPUS PLAN
Various classrooms, drawing hall, laboratories, library, auditorium,
workshop, computer center, etc. cover an area of 300000 sq.ft. An amount of Rs.3
cores is spent on various laboratories and other equipments. The computer center is having Horizon-III Unix system, 386/486-based LAN CAD and 100 terminals. The process of updating is continuing.
